Cedar

Cedar Shingle Roofs: Cedar Shingle Roofs are installed using wood cedar shingles. Cedar roofs when properly installed can last over 40 years and they are rustic, yet refined. We highly recommend cedar roofs due to their beauty and unique appearance.

Metal Roofing

Metal roofing systems are among the longest lasting roofs available, with a service life that usually exceeds 50 years. Today’s metal roofs feature advanced technology in metal substrate and coatings that provide a wide range of colors that won’t fade, chip or rust. Metal roofs are highly wind resistant and fireproof.

Slate Roofing

Slate roofing is a form of sloped roofing that utilizes slate tiles in an overlap system, that sheds water down the roof to the ground bellow. Slate is an organic material that is cut into tiles designed for roofing. Russell Roofing has an immense amount of experience with slate roofs. We have received national awards from the NRCA and beyond for our work on Keystone Hospice and Our Mother of Consolation which you can learn more about on our awards page. There are many pros to slate roofing, and it is considered by many to be the best long term roofing system that you can purchase. Slate roofs when installed correctly are one of the longest lasting roofs available. Depending on the type of slate you select these roof systems can last from 80 to 120 years offering a solid long term investment. These roofs often require maintenance every few years which we would be more than happy to come out and do for you.

Tile Roofing

Tile roofing almost always refers to roofing tiles that are made of clay or terra cotta and occasionally concrete. Russell Roofing is an excellent installer for tile roofs from small homes to large universities and we have been nationally and locally awarded for our work on Overbrook School for the Blind and Arcadia University which you can learn more about on our awards page. Like slate roofing, tile roofs when properly installed can last over 100 years and is water shedding slopped roofing system. Tile roofs are heavy and typically more expensive then asphalt shingle roofs. However, like slate tile roofs often make up for the steep upfront cost with lasting value and a great long term return on your investment. Tile roofs are beautiful, unique, and challenging to install. Please feel free to ask one of our representatives if a tile roof could be the right fit for you.

EPDM and TPO

Single-Ply EPDM – Sometimes referred to as “rubber roofing” EPDM is a single layer membrane compounded from a rubber-polymer. Some of the features that contribute to the popularity of EPDM single-ply roofing included long-term durability, including excellent resistance to temperature extremes, sunlight, ozone and moisture, ease, speed, and cleanliness of installation. EPDM roofing systems can be applied to virtually any roof surface: flat, spherical, curved, or slanted. Thermoplastics PVC/TPO Single-Ply – Thermoplastic single-ply membranes represent the fastest growing segment of the U.S. commercial roofing market over the past five years. The PVC product is a reinforced membrane with tough solvent-or-hot-air welded seams. This material has excellent durability and dimensional stability. Both PVC and TPO are aesthetically pleasing, lightweight, and durable.

Asphalt Shingle Roofing

Asphalt shingle roofing is the most common form of roofing by today’s standard. When compared to other forms of roofing asphalt shingles are relatively inexpensive, low maintenance, and can come with great warranties. The two primary asphalt shingle manufacturers are CertainTeed and GAF, the premier asphalt shingle producers in the country. We are CertainTeed Select Shingle Master and GAF Master Elite contractors, allowing us to offer the best warranties available from both of these manufacturers. On top of that we are a 5 time winner of GAF’s Presidents Club award that is given out to 55 contractors annually, while also sitting on CertainTeed’s Advisory Board helping to separate us from the pack.
